Carry is a gorgeous, energetic girl who has had a stroke of bad luck. She previously found a wonderful adoption home and was doing brilliantly, but due to an unexpected change in her adopter’s personal circumstances, she has found herself back in our assessment kennels. She is now ready for a true forever family.

Carry absolutely adores people. She thrives on human affection, happily working the room for cuddles, but she also has a lovely independent streak and will happily take herself off to amuse herself with her toys. She is an enthusiastic girl who loves to let off steam with impressive zoomies! Highly intelligent and eager to please, Carry already knows plenty of commands and tricks and is highly food-motivated.

Daily Life & Training While she isn’t thrilled about having her harness put on, once she’s strapped in, she is absolutely delighted to go out and is a pleasure to walk. Similarly, she can be a little hesitant jumping into the car, but travels perfectly once settled. Carry sleeps soundly through the night and just needs a quick refresher on her housetraining (she was fully trained in her previous home, but kennel life has caused a minor setback). Her new owner will need to continue working on her general socialization.

Home Requirements

  • Dogs: Must be the only dog in the home (she is not keen on sharing her space or belongings).

  • Cats: Strict no-cat household due to signs of prey drive.

  • Children: Good with kids! Any children in the household must be at least 5 years old (safe, supervised introductions are required).

  • Home: Direct access to a private, secure garden is preferred, though we will consider applications without a garden for Carry.

  • Note: A standard homecheck and adoption donation apply.
